Weekends are hard!!! thank goodness its over.. cant believe i actually said that… had a word do today.. it was a great afternoon… but yeah.. people shocked that I wasnt drinking!!! being tempted by sips of wine.. which i would have loved to have had a taste.. but no alcohol means no sipping!!!!!!
Anyway, i got through my first weekend… only 3 more to go!!! wooo hooooo…. BRING IT ON!!!
Tonight was pretty hard.. had dinner out just at Hans but Kat didnt know about my 30 day alcohol free crazy idea. She suggested we get wine… i declined… and got soft drink… anyway.. that bit was ok… then we went to his majesty’s theatre and there was wine, champers beer.. all for sale obviously… but we were standing around waiting for people… it made me want one… i held Kats drink for a while.. sniffed the beer.. it smelt good!! but i declined… didnt have any.. was tempting to have a sip… but didnt! I feel good that I didnt do it now… but at the time… i felt like a loser… im guessing this is only gonna get harder 
OK.. its friday.. surely everyone would be wanting a drink by now???? on my drive home i kept thinking how i wanted a drink… i also knew that when i got home that Jac and Ren would be having a few… I was thinking to myself… ok.. just one wont hurt… but no.. i remembered that people think i cant do it.. so even if i do it just to prove them wrong!!!
Anyway im glad i didnt.. because at the footy i could have gotten myself into a bit of trouble with a bit of grog under my belt as it was rather agro!!! and yes.. i got rather agro..and i was sober!!! so… yeah best that i was 100% sober :) actually i have to say… im rather proud of my self… 7 days is a good effort!!! bring on the next 7 days!!!! actually scrap that.. bring on day 30
Again, not such a struggle today… Georgia is back at work.. so no temptation to sit and drink wine and chat!!!
Football tomorrow… normally a drinking night… the girls have rallied behind me and are not drinking (as much) they are still drinking.. Im going to go out and buy some lemon lime and bitters so i dont feel left out…. it was either that or non alcoholic beer.. yeah.. i chose the lemon lime and bitters….
I keep remembering plans i have coming up… which is in my alcohol free month…. this is gonna be tough!!!!
